Samira

Samira is an anthropologist, public health professional, mutual aid organizer, and cultural worker with a commitment to liberatory praxis and education. Her work is informed by an abolitionist framework rooted in intergenerational narratives of resistance in SWANA communities. Her academic and organizing endeavors focus on the intersections of mutual aid, food & land sovereignty, harm reduction, and community third spaces. She is the Founder and Co-Director of Khale's House.

Farah Mosbah is an archaeologist by trade and a community builder by nature, with a love for heritage, food, and bringing people together. Over the past three years, she has created spaces where community and culture can thrive. She also bakes treats that celebrate the flavors, memories, and traditions of home. Her work is rooted in preserving memory, nurturing nostalgia, and imagining more just and joyful futures. She is the Co-Director of Khale's House.
